Nir Baron

Nir Baron was appointed Senior Vice President, Chief Internal Auditor in May 2014 to lead the Global Internal Audit function. 

Global Internal Audit is an independent function missioned with enhancing and protecting Teva's organizational value by providing risk-based and objective assurance, advice, and insights.

Prior to joining Teva, Nir worked for the Israel Securities Authority (ISA), where he served as the Director of Investigations and Intelligence and a member of the management team. Previously, he served in various investigatory and managerial roles in the ISA, including Deputy Director of the Department of Investigations.

Nir is a member of the Israeli Bar, holding an L.L.B. from Tel Aviv University. He holds a B.A. in Middle Eastern studies and political science, magna cum laude from Tel Aviv University and a master’s degree in management from Boston University, Ben Gurion University Campus.
